(二)环境场景:Balancing Economic Growth and Environmental Conservation
With the acceleration of global industrialization, the conflict between economic development and environmental protection has become increasingly prominent. Industrial activities release a large amount of pollutants into the air and water, while deforestation for urban expansion destroys the natural habitats of countless species, threatening biodiversity. The greenhouse effect caused by excessive carbon emission has led to extreme weather events such as heatwaves and floods, bringing severe losses to human society.
However, economic growth does not necessarily have to come at the cost of the environment. Many countries have begun to invest in renewable energy technologies, such as solar and wind power, to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Enterprises are also adopting sustainable production models—for instance, some textile factories recycle wastewater and reuse raw materials, minimizing their environmental impact. Meanwhile, governments have issued policies to restrict pollutant discharge and promote environmental education, encouraging citizens to participate in recycling activities and conserve water resources.
Protecting the ecosystem is not a sacrifice for economic development but a prerequisite for its long-term stability. Only by balancing the two can we ensure that future generations can also enjoy a healthy and livable planet.
